About
What's on
this weekend?
Haengsa Maru is a free service that puts festivals, shows, exhibitions and events across Korea on one map. Pick a date and a region, and see what's happening near you at a glance.
一What it does
Festivals are listed on local government sites, shows and exhibitions on ticketing sites, and small events on social media. Every morning Haengsa Maru gathers six sets of event data published by public agencies, merges duplicates, checks the venues, and shows each event as a pin on the map. The map currently has about 4,400 events.
Event names and details are translated into English automatically. Venue names keep the Korean name too, so you can match local signs and ask for directions.

Ended events are hidden at first. Tap “Show ended events” to see events that ended within the last 2 days as faded pins.
三How to use it
- Choose a date — “This weekend” to start with. Today, tomorrow, this week or your own dates also work.
- Choose a region — a province or city, down to a district.
- On the right (on phones, “Types”), keep only the types you want to see.
- Tap a pin to see the venue, date, time, price and links to the official site or tickets. Get directions in Naver Map, or share the event's own link with friends.
- If you know the name, use search (🔍, top left).
四Where the information comes from
We use open data from the Korea Tourism Organization, the Public Data Portal, the Korea Culture Information Service Agency, KOPIS (Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System) and Seoul Open Data Plaza. The source is listed under each event's details, and the full list is on Data sources. We don't copy posters or descriptions — only facts such as dates and venues.
Public data can change or contain mistakes. Please check the official announcement before you go.
五Tell us about missing events or wrong details
If you know an event that isn't on the map, post it on Report an event with a link to where it was announced. We check it and add it to the map. Tapping Report a correction in an event's details opens a report already filled in with that event. For anything else about the service, use Suggestions. English or Korean is fine.
